Loving the weather!

So I left work early today to spend time outside with Gigi. When I got home she was asleep OF COURSE. but once she woke up, out we went. I put her in our stroller and went on a 40 min walk. (im keeping track b/c mama needs to lose a little weight! haha) I walked all the way down to this pond near our house and tried to get gigi out of the stroller and let her play but she was NOT having it. She doesnt really like the grass. Last summer she had those thick casts on her legs so we couldnt take her out much (and our house was an ice box!) so I think shes just unsure of what exactly grass is. We are really hoping that taking her out alot and just letting her get use to it will work. We are going to the beach in July with the family and I dont want her to freak out about the sand and water. I really hope she is one of those babies that loves the water and hanging out on the beach all day cause Tom and I love hanging out on the beach all day when we are there. Obviously with us being as pale as we are we have to take that into consideration for her too. We have stocked up on baby sunscreen SPF 50! haha and I just bought one of those big cabana things for the beach. so she can nap in there or rest and eat a snack or change a diaper, whatever. so this is obviously how I HOPE it goes. Im not stupid though. I realize with a baby everything is subject to change.

so anyways back to our day together. Gigi yelled and waved at all the cars that drove by during our walk. she is so funny. and she barked at all the dogs. and everytime a plane went by she said BIRD! I just really love spending time with her and just watching her. She learns like crazy! it blows my mind. its like she wakes up and just KNOWS new things. She knows how to kick a ball, she knows what a dog says, where my nose is, what a bird is, what a plane is, what a cow says, and just so much more. This is prob normal for all kids but of course with her being my first i assume she is a genius. haha

I had to add this one. Its from easter but Gigi looks exactly like my cousin Mindi and Uncle Chris. They all have that little chin and little cute pucker lips. And she has my little button nose. But I had to add this pic since I was looking at pics of baby mindi yesterday and realized how similar they look. twinsies!

This is us at the Cherry Bloosoms a few weekends ago. it was raining and cold and gross. bad idea prob but it was fun for like 5 min. haha
